A. Research Paper/ Finding your Topic

1. Go to my wikispace and click on Research Paper- Finding a Topic or go to
http://library.sau.edu/bestinfo/Hot/hotindex.htm

2. Click on any topics that might interest you and begin learning about the topic
3. Make a list of questions you might like to ask about your topic.
4. How can you create an argumentative research paper from this topic?
5 Read, “ Choosing a Topic” at http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/658/03/
6. Click on “Where do I begin” at the bottom of the page and read this information.
7. Choose your topic and conference with me for approval. Make sure you have me sign and date your Requirements sheet.
8. Create a page on your Wikispace called Research Topic-
9. Begin by brainstorming everything you know or want to know about your topic and where you will begin your search.

3. Write a 3-5 sentence summary on each topic.
4. Post this on your Wikispace on a page you create titled-Research
